My name is Jonathan, and I'm a Soccer/Futbol ⚽ loving Software Engineer from New York. I started coding in 2019 and haven't looked back. I'm skilled in Ruby, Javascript, SQL, HTML, CSS, Rails, React, and Redux.
My projects outside of business tend to revolve around my passion for Soccer, as you'll see below. It makes for a greater understanding of my trade as an engineer and gives me more opportunities to research the beautiful game!

CampoTeq
This is a single page database application to be used as a resource for soccer coaches. With this application, users can search for their favorite professional teams to view their most recent formations and use that to gain perspective on how to use their own players in a similar manner. When I was asked to coach a local Sunday league team, I looked for any help on tactics, formations, and training methods. I couldn't find much, so I decided to make my own! Built with a pure JavaScript frontend and Ruby on Rails with a PostgreSQL backend.

This is an organizational tool for soccer coaches to manage their rostered players. Another tool made out of necessity from my time as a coach. This app allows users to create a profile for their own team and register their players as they come along. It's simple and easy to use, but makes team organization so much easier. This was built with a React/Redux frontend, a Ruby on Rails backend with an SQLite3 database, and was styled with Bootstrap.

FUTVOLTA
This is a Ruby On Rails application that is loosely based on the EA Sports FIFA video game. Users are able to sign in and create five-a-side soccer teams with the players seeded in the database. The backend is Ruby with an SQLite3 database and the frontend is HTML and minimal CSS styling.
